Why is my work network so slow?
Main Post:
Good evening. I have to admit upfront that I’m not the most technical person so please bear with me.
I work from home for a pretty big corporation.
I have Google Fiber 2G with their router in bridge mode, with a TPLink Archer BE 550 set up as the router. Have a 8x2.5G RJ45 ports + 1x10G SFP port unmanaged switch connected to the router via Cat6 cable. From there I have my personal and work laptops hardwired.
I have no issues at all with personal equipment, just having a hard time understanding why my work laptop is operating so damn slow. It’s driving me crazy trying to figure it out.
Are there some advanced settings I should change?
iP4v, iP6v, DNS, etc?
Everything with Google and the archer BE 550 both are set to their default settings. Each laptop has a 2.5G Ethernet adapter. We connect to the companies server through Palo Alto Network GlobalProtect.
Also why is my wifi6G not showing in available networks?
Here are some screenshot photos with personal Mac and HP Speedtest and setting and also work WiFi and hardwired speed test and settings.
Thank you for any help you can provide.

Fan Duel Sports Network App (So far)?
Main Post:
I am checking to see if anyone has used the FDSN DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) App for any Spring Training games thus far. If so, any intolerable issues? I live in Louisville (KY). I do not currently subscribe to a cable provider. I am only aware of one cable provider that carries the "FDSN" here on its basic package (or close to basic), and we do not get along. I really want to purchase the app this season, but if it's going to be watching the "spinning wheel" or "logging in and logging out" for 4 2/3 innings I'd rather buy the MLB radio package. Please, no need to reference VPNs to circumvent MLBtv. I ain't doing that either. Thank you for your insight in advance. Go REDS!
Top Comment:
I haven’t used it this season, but last season when using it with my Apple TV, if I watched a game and then turned off the streaming device or went to another app, when I tried watching the Reds again, I would have to force restart the app so it would update. I also would find it would freeze on iOS while watching or get stuck in a loop.

Why does Network Solutions take so long to push out DNS updates?
Main Post:
Most of our client domains use CloudFlare, which pushes out DNS updates immediately and can be verified at whatsmydns.net within seconds.
However, we still have a handful of clients at Network Solutions because that's where they set up their domains decades ago. For those clients, we have to take special effort to make all DNS updates a day before we need them because they take so long to push out.
Case in point: Earlier today I made a SRV record update for one of our clients, and here I am eight hours later still waiting.
Yes, I know that they provide the disclaimer that DNS updates can take up to 24 hours to be seen, but THIS ISN'T THE 1990s!!!
/rant over
EDIT 1: It is now over 18 hours since the DNS record was updated at Network Solutions, and IT STILL HASN'T PROPAGATED...
Top Comment: Probably faster to setup cloud flare and then transfer the domain.
Why is CCNA/Networking so difficult to understand?
Main Post:
Is it just me or CCNA/Networking is difficult to understand. I tried multiple source to study for the CCNA but I can't understand it. Please advise.
